What Is Women’s Therapy?

Women’s therapy is a space created for women to slow down, be seen, and reconnect with themselves. It focuses on the emotional, relational, and physical experiences that are unique to women, including the ways societal expectations, caregiving roles, and hormonal rhythms impact your life.

It’s a place to explore your emotions, listen to your body, and regain clarity and presence. Therapy helps you strengthen your sense of self, reconnect with your feminine energy, and build the tools to navigate life with more ease, confidence, and authenticity.

Women are expected to do it all, excel at work, care for family, look a certain way, and maintain emotional harmony, yet often receive little support for the toll it takes. You may find yourself:

Our Approach

At Healthridge, therapy for women is led by Shoshanna Boroosan, LMSW, who brings a compassionate, mind-body approach to every session. Shoshanna integrates somatic and relational techniques to help women reconnect with their emotions, intuition, and inner strength.

Her approach supports women in:

  • Listening to the body’s signals and emotional rhythms

  • Processing and releasing tension, anxiety, or trauma stored in the body

  • Exploring boundaries, relational patterns, and self-expression

  • Cultivating self-compassion, confidence, and authentic feminine energy

Shoshanna creates a safe, attuned space where healing is holistic, addressing both the mind and body, so women can reconnect with themselves, feel grounded, and move forward with clarity and ease.

What to Expect in Sessions

Your first sessions focus on what’s been weighing on you and what you hope to find. Together, we’ll create a space where your emotions, body, and intuition are all welcomed and respected.

Over time, you’ll experience more ease in your relationships, less internal pressure, and a clearer connection to your voice and desires. Many women describe feeling more grounded, alive, and in touch with their true selves.

Sessions are 50 minutes and available both in-person and online through our secure telehealth platform.

Insurance and Billing

Healthridge accepts many major insurance plans for individual therapy. Sessions are available both in-person and online through a secure telehealth platform.

For private pay clients, we offer flexible and sliding-scale options for those who qualify. Our priority is to make therapy accessible, confidential, and supportive for men who are ready to do the inner work that changes everything else.
